Welcome to......

Bove Town, Glastonbury
Coombe House Garden is an oasis of calm that beautifully highlights the charming views to the hills opposite and reflects the diverse and eclectic nature of Somerset.
It encompasses areas that are beginning to show architectural maturity — walled formal, herbaceous and romantic shrub gardens, elegant grass garden, some tender and unusual plants, vegetable garden, orchards, nut walk, water, other features and pergolas.

In all, the grounds comprise about two acres with delightful views and ambience.

Its one of those early Autumn days, cold start, then warm not hot sunshine. A day to enjoy the garden.

One of the reasons I am, with much sorrow, leaving CH is my health. Alas I can no longer cope with CH. I love it deeply as C and I had our first real home here.

It's a strange old world we live in, something new every day. Plants forgotten, plants remembered and plants in the "wow I did not know we had that" category.

What started off nice, has become once again a dull day with a strong hint of rain, so I am indoors thinking about and plotting the move.

Opening for visitors is CANCELLED
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are having to CANCEL the garden open day in aid of the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance on Sunday July 18th.
