Alan's Blog

The year is now starting to romp away and bulbs are popping up all over the garden, Blackbirds and Robins carving up territories in the garden and squrills seem to be every wear.

The Garrya Elliptica is showing nice long pendent catkin-like racemes and will soon be in full flower. We have had three days od frost which has given us bright sunny days although we are warned SNOW is on the way.

The new temple and its pool are coming together, we have been trying out ideas regarding the central fountain and think we have settled on one. Paul is busy cutting stone for the Paul edge and we hope to have the temple finished by end February or early March.
