Alan's Blog

Today the sun has really put his hat on, a balmy spring morning full of bird song and hum of bees. I went for a leisurely stroll in the garden, well as no one is here I can escape my lock down.

The transferred Czar plumbs were heavy with flower and busy busy bees, I was pleased to see the original Czar was also coming into flower so if we have a good year there will be a happy George.

The best surprise though was the Asparagus a good month early. Could not resist picking a spear and munching on it as I walked the rest of the kitchen garden, there is nothing like the first Asparagus raw or cooked.
